- Report directly to our surgical office located at 300 Main Avenue, Suite 201, in Fargo. We are located in Gateway Center, located near the Fryn Pan Restaurant.
- If you are scheduled to go to sleep for your procedure, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH AT LEAST EIGHT HOURS BEFORE YOU COME IN (unless you take medications for high blood pressure or heart problems; take these at your normal time with a small sip of water). This includes all solid foods and liquids, even water. Also, please do not smoke or chew gum the morning of your surgery. If you do not follow these instructions, we will not sedate you and we will have to reschedule your surgery.
- Have someone arrange to drive you home following your surgery. You must have a driver following your surgery, as you may not operate a motor vehicle following surgery and someone must accompany you home for your own safety. A taxi is not an acceptable ride home following surgery as they cannot receive post-operative instructions on your behalf.
- Wear comfortable clothing. Please wear short sleeves for convenience.
- Please let us know if you have any medical problems (diabetes, heart problems, contagious diseases, medication allergies, etc.) or if you have not had a recent physical exam. You may need to get a written permit from your physician prior to your surgery.
- If you are unable to keep your appointment or if you have any questions, please give our office a call, 701-232-9565 or 1-800-235-9565. We require 48-hour advance notification of any cancellations.
